  • The SkyDrive central Auckland bus stop is located on the Hobson Street side of the SkyCity complex.

    The SkyDrive central Queenstown bus stop is located in Athol Street.

    The Skydive Wanaka bus stop is located at the Lakefront Bus Stop, 100 Ardmore St.

  • IN AUCKLAND. The SkyDrive bus stops at both the Domestic and the International Terminals at Auckland Airport. The domestic bus stop is centrally located at outside Door 4 of the Air New Zealand end of the building. The International Terminal pickup bus stop is situated in the pickup lane outside the terminal building opposite Door 8. See the maps on the destination page.

    IN QUEENSTOWN. The SkyDrive bus stop is located centrally in the bus stop area outside the terminal and is identified with large signs.

  • Prior to the booked date, If you wish to adjust or change your booking or wish to cancel it, contact bookings@SkyDrive.co.nz

  • Generally, we offer discounts for groups of 25 or more. For more information, please email bookings@skydrive.co.nz. . Due to the size of the Compact coaches in Queenstown/Wanaka no group discounts are available.

  • Yes, you can buy tickets from the driver, however in Auckland, drivers can only take card payments. In Queenstown drivers cannot take card payments, purchases are cash only.

  • Your tickets have a QR Booking Code attached that the drivers can scan directly from your smartphone or tablet so do not require printing. The driver will also be capable of searching your booking using his online manifest.

  • All tickets are only for use on the booked travel date.

  • Yes.

  • Yes. Our booking system requires you to have a date and time to process the booking. You can adjust it by emailing bookings@SkyDrive.co.nz

  • REFUND, CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING POLICY

    If you wish to adjust or change your booking or wish to cancel it, contact bookings@skydrive.co.nz

    When the passenger cancels up to 24 hours before the departing time, the passenger is entitled to a refund of 80% of your booking total to cover admin, booking engine, and credit card processing fees.

    - When cancelled by the passenger within 24 hours from the departing time, the passenger is not entitled to a refund.

    - Reschedule requests can be made, free of charge, up to 24 hours before departing time. Applications done within 24 hours from departure time are subject to be declined and not refunded.

    Missed Departures and Connections

    - It is your responsibility to be at the correct departing point (according to your booking) at the recommended time of 15 minutes before the time displayed on your ticket. The service departs on time, and if you miss it for any given reason, you will not be entitled to a refund.

    - We are not responsible for third party connections travelling times. Even when we can use our service to connect to others, we will only be accountable for our part of this transportation, not issuing any refunds or taking any responsibilities over what happens with services provided by a third party.

    If the operator cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, the passenger is entitled to a refund of 80% of your booking total to cover admin, booking engine, and credit card processing fees.

  • Airport Staff Fares are available for employees whose permanent workplace is located at Auckland Airport. When boarding the vehicle, you can book it online or with the driver (card payments only in Auckland, cash only in Queenstown). You will need to carry an authorised 'Airport ID' when boarding the bus. Note: SkyDrive is not an Airport to Queenstown shuttle - please use local bus services instead.

  • IN AUCKLAND Approximately 40 minutes, but please allow extra time if travelling between 8 AM-10 AM and 3 PM-6 PM as these are peak traffic times.

    IN WANAKA Wanaka is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes travel time from Queenstown Airport.

    NOTE: Wanaka travel times are also weather dependent.

  • IN AUCKLAND SkyDrive travels directly to Auckland City via the North-Western Motorway and the Waterview tunnel, the fastest and most direct route.

    Queenstown to Wanaka Routes are

    Queenstown Airport > Frankton Bus Hub > Cromwell > Wanaka or

    Queenstown Airport > Frankton Bus Hub > SH6 Crown Range Carpark > Cardrona > Wanaka

    In Wanaka the SkyDrive service stops at the Wanaka Medical Centre and the Lakefront Bus Stop.

  • Buses stop just long enough to collect the waiting passengers, so please plan to be at the bus stop 10 mins before the official pickup time.

  • On the target destination pages are maps of our bus stops at the terminals of Auckland and Queenstown Airports

  • To stay up to date with the latest Skydrive promotions, you can opt-in for our Loyalty emails when purchasing your ticket or creating an account in the Skydrive app.

  • Yes, we have discounted fares for Seniors, Students and Airport staff

  • Yes, we offer discounts for businesses purchasing 25 or more tickets. For further information, please email bookings@skydrive.co.nz.

  • You have a luggage allocation, please click on the BOOK / INFO button above to find out more. There are charges for extra luggage and some larger objects.

  • We ask that our passengers finish their food before boarding or wait until departing the bus to consume food. It helps ensure that every passenger has a pleasant ride. It includes takeaway drinks such as coffee. Water is permitted in a resealable bottle.

  • Skydrive welcomes aboard passengers accompanied by service dogs or disability assistance dogs. You might have to sit at designated areas depending on the allocated vehicle.

    Pets are welcome but must travel in a secure enclosure and will incur extra charges. Booking ahead is strongly advised.

  • We welcome children of all ages and those under four years travel free. You can have them on your lap or in a front-pack carrier.
